About The Fairmount
Located in historic southside Fort Worth, just 5 minutes from downtown and 5 minutes from the cultural district, The Fairmount is a premier live music venue and the newest addition to Fort Worth's growing music scene. The Fairmount is an intimate music venue showcasing the best national, regional, and local musical acts while nurturing and encouraging aspiring musicians with a Tuesday night Guitar Pull and Wednesday night Songwriter Showcase & Open Mic. The Fairmount is also one of only a handful of places in the Dallas/Fort Worth area offering LIVE MUSIC 7 NIGHTS A WEEK.
The Fairmount location offers a large full-service bar, a separate beer only bar, a huge dance floor that doubles as extra seating or standing room as the need arises, a special reserved area, green room, free wireless internet access, pool tables, game machines, a killer jukebox, great stage, and a quality sound and light system. Patrons will experience many great musicians focusing on Americana, alt-country, Texas music and spanning to rockabilly, bluegrass, folk, blues, jazz, rock, punk, classical, indie music and more.
The 600 W. Magnolia Ave. space has been completely remodeled with wood reclaimed from a hundred year old barn and antique ceiling tin from an old grocery store in Throckmorton, Texas. This coupled with a one of a kind hand crafted island bar and other additions such as a striking wood mosaic front to the newly added sound booth make The Fairmount a unique and comfortable place to enjoy and play live music in Fort Worth.
